TL;DR

Location: Must be based in the United States

Compensation: $165,000–$300,000 OTE

What you will do

  • Define and execute the go-to-market strategy for the government payments ecosystem.
  • Identify and develop relationships with payment processors, software platforms, and fintech providers.
  • Own the full sales cycle from initial prospecting through contract signature.
  • Represent the company at industry conferences and trade associations.
  • Collaborate with Product, Compliance, and Legal teams to launch integrations and unblock deals.
  • Serve as the internal subject matter expert on government payment workflows and market trends.

Requirements

  • Must be based in the United States
  • 5+ years of experience in sales, business development, payments, fintech, or govtech.
  • Deep understanding of the government payments ecosystem and public-sector contract environments.
  • Proven track record in sourcing, negotiating, and closing strategic partnerships.
  • Experience building new markets or business initiatives from the ground up.
  • AI fluency with active use of AI tools for research and decision-making.

Nice to have

  • Existing relationships with payment processors or software platforms serving government-adjacent workflows.
  • Experience launching initiatives in highly regulated environments.
  • Demonstrated success in scaling a new market vertical.
