DevOps Engineer (Frontend/Cloud)

Location: Utrecht, Netherlands; hybrid work

Salary: €5,030–€7,183 gross per month for a 36-hour work week

What you will do

• Build and improve frontend features for the Service Store using React, TypeScript, and JavaScript.
• Improve how engineers find, reuse, and manage hirify.global-wide IT services.
• Build clear user journeys in Nexa with service providers and engineering teams.
• Create service insights that help teams choose appropriate tools.
• Translate user needs into practical solutions, user stories, and product improvements.
• Contribute to the broader Nexa platform ecosystem and scalable cloud delivery.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in similar roles within complex IT environments.
• Experience with Node, React, TypeScript or JavaScript, CI/CD, monitoring, infrastructure as code, and REST API integration.
• Experience with AWS cloud infrastructure, including Lambda and AI Gateway, Azure DevOps, and document databases such as AWS DocumentDB.
• Knowledge of authentication and authorization using OAuth, JWT, or OpenID, plus Playwright testing.
• Experience with DevOps teams, scaled Agile, software development, solution design, and writing user stories.
• Business-level English proficiency in writing and speaking.

Nice to have

• Full-stack development experience.
• Experience with the Backstage open-source framework.
• Experience working in complex, preferably non-standardized environments.
