Senior Consultant Energy - Pricing & Sourcing (Energy Consulting): Advising energy suppliers and trading organizations on sourcing, pricing, portfolio management, and commercial transformation with an accent on business analysis, project management, and stakeholder management. Focus on improving financial results, selecting IT systems, supporting investment decisions, and addressing data and AI opportunities across the energy transition.
Location: Amsterdam, Netherlands. Hybrid work from home, the client, or the Amsterdam office.

What you will do
- Advise energy suppliers and trading organizations on sourcing, pricing, trading, and portfolio management.
- Improve the financial results of sales and sourcing departments.
- Define organizational improvements and support vendor selection for relevant IT systems.
- Contribute to investment decisions, business process improvements, and new commercial activities.
- Combine business analysis, project management, and stakeholder management to deliver client solutions.
- Contribute to Energy team strategy, business development, recruitment, knowledge sharing, and training.
Requirements
- Master’s degree with strong analytical training.
- At least four years of consulting experience and relevant commercial energy-sector experience.
- Practical knowledge of energy sourcing, pricing, trading, and portfolio management.
- Ability to identify problems and trends, solve complex problems, and align stakeholders across an organization.
- Strong interest in data and AI-related topics, with the ability to quickly build expertise in these areas.
- English and Dutch communication and presentation skills are required; non-Dutch speakers will not be accepted.
Nice to have
- French or German communication skills.
- Previous consulting experience with an energy supplier or trading organization.
