Forward Deployed Consultant, Manufacturing (AI)

Location: Customer-site travel required up to 40%; the role operates across manufacturing and industrial environments.

What you will do

• Partner with COO, Chief Supply Chain Officer, Chief Digital Officer, VP Manufacturing, VP Quality, and other senior stakeholders to define AI transformation opportunities.
• Lead initial executive conversations and qualify opportunities for high-value, multi-year engagements.
• Co-author and run end-to-end Validation Sprints using customer data and systems to identify, build, test, and present AI solutions.
• Rebuild manufacturing workflows across product development, quality, portfolio management, operations, launch readiness, and process transformation.
• Extend hirify.global AI Workflows, Prototypes, and Goals, Roadmaps & Delivery through API, WebSDK, and MCP integrations with ERP, PLM, MES, and quality systems.
• Develop value stories, ROI models, KPI baselines, partnership proposals, and post-sale Professional Services scopes.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in top-tier consulting, forward deployed engineering, solution consulting, or enterprise transformation, with a focus on manufacturing or industrial environments.
• Deep knowledge of manufacturing processes, including NPI, stage-gate/APQP, engineering change management, FMEA, 8D, PPAP, S&OP, production planning, lean improvement, maintenance, and reliability.
• Fluency with industrial enterprise systems, including SAP or equivalent ERP, Teamcenter, Windchill, or 3DEXPERIENCE PLM, MES, and quality management systems.
• Credibility with senior operations, supply chain, quality, and plant leadership stakeholders.
• Strong GenAI, prompt engineering, context engineering, and MCP integration skills, with the ability to build working solutions and orchestrate AI engineers when needed.
• Ability to create finance-ready financial and ROI analyses; willingness to travel to customer sites up to 40%.
