What you will do

• Lead and develop a team of Plan Building Coordinators and Specialists, managing the full employee lifecycle from hiring to retention.
• Own quality assurance by conducting reviews to ensure benefit configurations are accurate and compliant.
• Monitor and prioritize daily claim configuration queues to meet service standards.
• Serve as the subject matter expert for troubleshooting complex configuration issues and providing team guidance.
• Drive process improvement initiatives to enhance the quality, efficiency, and consistency of plan building.
• Develop and maintain standardized policies and procedures to keep the team audit-ready.

Requirements

• Location: Based in Tempe, AZ
• 5+ years of plan building experience.
• Strong knowledge of CPT/HCPCS coding and claims processing logic.
• Working knowledge of ACA, Mental Health Parity, and federal regulations governing plan design.
• Ability to interpret benefit plan documents and draft configuration instructions.
• High school diploma or GED required; post-secondary degree preferred.

Nice to have

• Experience with employee benefits administration, specifically self-funded health plans.
• Prior people management or supervisory experience.
• Experience with QicLink, HEALTHpac, and/or GIAS.
