What you will do

• Greet patients and manage the waiting area to ensure efficient clinic flow.
• Verify patient identification, insurance eligibility, and program participation.
• Collect and account for patient fees, including copays, deductibles, and coinsurance.
• Manage patient accounts, admissions, discharges, and coordinate physician appointments.
• Perform clerical tasks, maintain chart monitoring systems, and handle office supplies.
• Collaborate with the treatment team to discuss patient issues and ensure accreditation standards.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One year of experience as a general office clerk with math, accounting, and cash handling skills.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Proficiency in data entry, basic computer skills, and standard office equipment.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and enforce fee collection policies.
