What you will do

• Educate prospects on platform solutions such as BigCommerce, Shopify, Magento, and WordPress.
• Conduct needs analysis and technical scoping sessions to gather and document project requirements.
• Provide pre-sales technical consulting via demonstrations, conference calls, and RFP responses.
• Act as a trusted technical advisor for sales and marketing teams when communicating with partners.
• Develop new internal processes and best practices to maintain industry leadership.
• Provide emergency development support for major accounts and key clients.

Requirements

• 4-5+ years of solutions engineering experience or a similar senior-level development role.
• Strong knowledge of web technologies, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.
• Experience with eCommerce and CMS platforms (Shopify, Magento, BigCommerce, WordPress).
• Ability to provide consultative presentations and hold in-depth technical discussions with C-level executives.
• Experience with POS systems, product catalogs, order management, ERP systems, and payment gateways.

Nice to have

• Training in sales methodology or solution selling.
• Experience responding to RFPs or creating technical white papers and thought leadership content.
• Experience with high-complexity front-end or back-end development projects.
• Experience with third-party integrations and custom commerce solutions.
