What you will do
- Plan, implement, and manage data center cabinet layouts and power density for maximum efficiency.
- Oversee server capacity deployments and integrate infrastructure with automation for global scalability.
- Collaborate with project management and engineering teams to align service requirements and hardware integration.
- Coordinate the synchronization of hardware, software, and network resources across functional teams.
- Provide expert technical guidance and troubleshooting for complex infrastructure issues, including on-call rotations.
Requirements
- Must be based in the Netherlands.
- Minimum 8 years of experience with high-speed networks (10G to 100G+) and expert-level BGP routing (IPv4/IPv6).
- Strong experience in remote data center operations, including device configuration and fiber debugging.
- In-depth understanding of TCP/IP stack performance and practical experience with Wireshark.
- Foundational knowledge of AI/ML technologies and their application within the network domain.
- Strong written and spoken English skills.
Nice to have
- Experience optimizing network infrastructure for AI training workloads, HPC, and GPU cluster interconnects.
- Linux/Unix background with scripting skills in Python, Shell, or Perl.
- Deep expertise in DNS, HTTPS, GRE, and IPsec.
- Advanced certifications such as CCIE (Enterprise/Service Provider) or JNCIP.
