Sr. Staff Network Engineer (Cybersecurity)

What you will do

• Deploy, monitor, operate, and document worldwide production infrastructure across diverse data center locations.
• Plan and manage data center cabinet layouts, power density, and server capacity deployments.
• Integrate infrastructure with automation to support global scalability and resource utilization.
• Coordinate service requirements and hardware integration with project management and engineering development teams.
• Synchronize hardware, software, and network resources across functional teams.
• Provide expert troubleshooting for complex data center infrastructure issues and participate in weekend and holiday on-call rotations.

Requirements

• At least 8 years of hands-on experience with high-speed 10G to 100G+ networks and expert BGP routing and troubleshooting for IPv4 and IPv6.
• Strong remote data center operations experience, including device configuration, fiber debugging, and patching issue resolution.
• In-depth knowledge of core networking concepts, TCP/IP stack performance, and IP packet analysis using Wireshark or similar tools.
• Foundational knowledge of AI/ML technologies and experience applying, securing, or positioning AI-driven solutions in the functional domain.
• Experience managing priorities across ticketing and inventory systems, strong written and spoken English, and either relevant organizational experience or a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science Engineering.

Nice to have

• Experience designing low-latency network infrastructure for AI training workloads, HPC environments, and GPU cluster interconnectivity.
• Strong Linux/Unix skills with shell, Python, or Perl scripting and expertise in DNS, HTTPS, GRE, and IPsec.
• Experience automating large-scale end-to-end deployments.
• Advanced networking certifications such as CCIE Enterprise Infrastructure/Service Provider, JNCIP-ENT, or JNCIP-SP.
• Additional language skills.
