Salary: $80,000 - $125,000 + equity

What you will do

• Manage day-to-day operational accounting, including reviewing credit card transactions and reconciling prepaid expenses.
• Execute the month-end close process to ensure complete, accurate, and timely financial reporting.
• Prepare journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations for fixed assets, leases, and treasury processes.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to enhance internal controls and ensure strict adherence to company policies.
• Maintain high-quality financial statements and support various ad-hoc finance activities.
• Liaise with external auditors and tax preparers for annual audits and tax compliance filings.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business.
• 1-2 years of accounting or finance experience.
• Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., NetSuite, Microsoft D365, Ramp, Bill.com) and Microsoft Excel.
• Solid understanding of GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls.
• Must be a "U.S. Person" (U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, or protected individual) due to ITAR export control regulations.

Nice to have

• Experience in aerospace, satellite, manufacturing, telecommunications, or defense industries.
• Active CPA license or currently pursuing CPA licensure.
• Experience utilizing AI tools for accounting and month-end close activities.
