What you will do

• Support the company through its first financial audit, including schedule preparation and documentation.
• Own components of the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes to ensure US GAAP compliance.
• Prepare complex technical accounting transactions including revenue recognition (ASC 606), lease accounting (ASC 842), and equity-based compensation (ASC 718).
• Design and implement a robust internal control environment to anticipate and mitigate financial risks.
• Drive systems and process improvements, including ERP enhancements and automation of manual tasks.
• Develop and maintain scalable accounting procedures and documentation standards.

Requirements

• Active CPA license in good standing is required.
• 7–10+ years of progressive accounting experience, including significant tenure at a Top 10 public accounting firm.
• Senior Manager level experience in Audit or Assurance with a track record of leading engagements.
• Deep technical knowledge of US GAAP, specifically revenue recognition and lease accounting.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. and based in the San Francisco Bay Area.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and project management skills.

• Prior industry experience in technology, SaaS, or manufacturing.
• Experience with NetSuite.
• Experience in a start-up or high-growth environment.
• Experience with multi-entity accounting structures.
