Senior Cloud Engineer (AWS/Kubernetes)

What you will do

• Design, implement, and maintain robust AWS cloud infrastructure for microservices-based applications.
• Manage and operate AWS EKS clusters and Kubernetes environments.
• Automate infrastructure and operational tasks using Terraform or OpenTofu, Bash, and Python.
• Configure and maintain monitoring, logging, and observability with Splunk, Datadog, and related tools.
• Implement day-2 operations, including upgrades, backup and restore, and cost optimization.
• Collaborate with engineering teams on reliable cloud infrastructure and CI/CD practices.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in IT infrastructure or a related field, including at least 3 years in AWS cloud environments.
• Deep knowledge of Kubernetes architecture, resource management, and AWS EKS.
• Strong understanding of AWS services including EC2, VPC, S3, IAM, and CloudWatch.
• Extensive Infrastructure as Code experience with Terraform or OpenTofu.
• Experience with Istio, CI/CD principles, and Jenkins or similar tools.
• Strong scripting, communication, and collaboration skills.

Nice to have

• Container security knowledge and experience creating Helm charts.
• Familiarity with OpenTelemetry monitoring and logging tools.
• Experience with disaster recovery and business continuity planning.
• AWS certifications such as Solutions Architect, SysOps Administrator, AWS Security, or DevOps Engineer.
