What you will do

• Design and maintain scalable AWS cloud infrastructure to support microservices-based applications.
• Manage and operate AWS EKS clusters, focusing on Kubernetes architecture and resource management.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) utilizing Terraform or OpenTofu.
• Configure and maintain observability stacks using Splunk and Datadog.
• Integrate service mesh technologies like Istio within Kubernetes environments.
• Execute day-2 operations, including system upgrades, backup and restore processes, and cost optimization.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, with at least 3+ years in AWS cloud environments.
• Deep expertise in Kubernetes architecture and AWS EKS cluster management.
• Strong proficiency with core AWS services: EC2, VPC, S3, IAM, and CloudWatch.
• Extensive experience with Terraform or OpenTofu for infrastructure automation.
• Solid understanding of CI/CD principles and experience with Jenkins or similar tools.
• Strong scripting skills in Bash and Python for automation and troubleshooting.

Nice to have

• AWS certifications such as Solutions Architect, Sysops Administrator, Security, or DevOps Engineer.
• Knowledge of container security best practices and experience creating Helm charts.
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools using Open Telemetry.
• Experience with disaster recovery and business continuity planning for cloud environments.
