Senior Platform Engineer (AWS/Kubernetes)

What you will do

• Support, maintain, and enhance application hosting and build platforms across AWS, Kubernetes, Jenkins, and GitHub.
• Develop automation and engineering tools using Python, Java/Groovy, Go, and Terraform.
• Maintain reliable production environments and improve observability and monitoring systems.
• Respond to proactive and reactive support alerts across business-critical systems.
• Lead code reviews, promote engineering best practices, and contribute to technical standards.
• Mentor engineers and collaborate with stakeholders across the Technology department.

Requirements

• Strong experience solving complex engineering problems across distributed systems, with exposure to AWS and Kubernetes.
• Experience across the full software development lifecycle, with strong coding and automation skills.
• Understanding of system architecture and the ability to think end-to-end across platforms and services.
• Experience writing well-tested, maintainable, secure, and performant code.
• Experience with infrastructure testing, such as Terraform testing and BDD-style integration tests.
• Ability to work effectively in multi-tenant environments with multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.
