TL;DR
Cloud Engineer - Senior (Cloud Infrastructure): Designing, automating, and maintaining secure, scalable cloud infrastructure for cyberspace test squadron services with an accent on infrastructure as code, containerization, security, and reliability. Focus on building CI/CD pipelines, managing Kubernetes-based environments, optimizing cloud performance and costs, and implementing monitoring and incident response.
Location: Eglin Air Force Base, Florida, United States

supports the cloud infrastructure of the 48 Cyberspace Test Squadron.
What you will do
- Design, build, and deploy scalable, highly available, and secure cloud infrastructure.
- Develop and maintain infrastructure-as-code using Terraform, CloudFormation, or Azure Resource Manager.
- Configure and manage virtual machines, containers, networking, storage, databases, and cloud security controls.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, patch, upgrade, back up, and optimize cloud infrastructure and costs.
- Automate provisioning and deployments with scripting and orchestration tools, and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
- Collaborate with test teams, developers, leadership, and IT staff; document systems and provide technical support and training.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field and at least 10 years of relevant experience; additional experience may substitute for education.
- Active Secret clearance and U.S. citizenship required.
- Strong knowledge of cloud computing concepts and experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Experience with scripting, infrastructure as code, containers, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, networking, security, monitoring, logging, and databases.
- DoD 8140 Level 3 certification required.
- No travel is required.

- AWS Certified Solutions Architect.
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert.
- Google Cloud Certified Professional Cloud Architect.
- Other relevant cloud certifications.
