What you will do

• Oversee the month-end close cycle and ensure the financial integrity of the general ledger.
• Act as the primary bridge between onshore Business Units and the offshore accounting team.
• Lead the testing, implementation, and post-go-live optimization of a new SAP ERP system.
• Cultivate business partnerships with FP&A and Commercial Finance to refine reporting frameworks.
• Manage balance sheet reconciliations, audits, and compliance for complex retail activities.
• Mentor and build technical capability within the offshore team to improve business acumen.

Requirements

• 7+ years of progressive experience in Finance, Shared Services, or Global Business Services.
• Minimum 3 years of experience overseeing retail-related accounting functions.
• Professional accounting qualification such as CA, CPA, or CIMA.
• Experience with SAP S/4 HANA, Great Plains, or Dynamics 365.
• Proven track record in process optimization and leveraging technology for efficiency.
• Must be based in Sydney, Melbourne, or Adelaide (Hybrid).

Nice to have

• Experience managing offshore or outsourced shared service delivery models.
• Background in successful Finance technology programs and SAP ERP implementations.
• Experience with change management and embedding new capabilities.
