Accounting Manager - Accounting Services

What you will do

• Own general ledger oversight for the Group’s retail businesses and ensure accurate, timely Record to Report delivery.
• Manage month-end close activities, including journals, reconciliations, reporting packages, OneStream submissions, and P&L and balance sheet consolidation.
• Partner with FP&A, Commercial Finance, Operations Finance, eCommerce Finance, and non-finance stakeholders to improve management reporting.
• Support SAP ERP implementation through testing, defect management, post-go-live enhancements, and process delivery.
• Lead knowledge transfer, onboarding, coaching, and capability development for the offshore accounting team.
• Strengthen balance sheet controls, audit readiness, risk identification, and process automation and standardisation.

Requirements

• 7+ years of progressive experience in Finance, Shared Services, or Global Business Services.
• At least 3 years of experience overseeing retail-related accounting functions is preferred.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA, Great Plains, or Dynamics 365.
• Professional accounting qualification such as CA, CPA, or CIMA.
• Strong business partnering, influencing, process optimisation, and change management skills.
• Experience with offshore or outsourced shared services and finance technology programs, including SAP ERP implementations, is highly desirable.
