Financial Accountant (Retail)

Location: Taipei, Taiwan

hirify.global operates an e-commerce business in Taiwan, providing Rocket Delivery and international delivery services.

What you will do

• Support timely and accurate inventory cost recognition and perform multidimensional cost analysis.
• Participate in the end-to-end procure-to-pay process, including AP approval, invoice validation, reconciliation, vendor settlement, and payment-term review.
• Identify process gaps, redesign workflows, and prepare SOPs, guidelines, and training materials.
• Support finance system projects through solution design, testing, data validation, and coordination with IT.
• Maintain transaction compliance with accounting standards, tax requirements, regulatory requirements, and internal control frameworks.
• Support monthly closing, financial statement packages, disclosures, filings, and documentation requests from auditors and regulators.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3–7 years of accounting, audit, or tax experience; multinational experience is preferred.
• Fluency in English and Mandarin is required for daily communication with internal and external stakeholders.
• Experience working with external auditors and tax consultants, with strong knowledge of financial statement preparation and disclosures.
• Knowledge of local tax regulations, international tax concepts, and SOX compliance.
• Proficiency in Excel and ERP systems such as SAP, with strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Nice to have

• CPA, ACCA, or an equivalent professional qualification.
• Big Four accounting firm experience.
• Experience with finance process improvement or finance system implementation projects.
• PCAOB audit experience or experience in a public company environment.
