Credit Control Assistant Accountant (MedTech)

Location: On-site in Lane Cove West, Sydney, New South Wales, Australia

What you will do

• Manage end-to-end accounts receivable, including invoicing, cash application, collections, and credit-limit maintenance.
• Perform credit assessments and regular credit reviews for hospitals, clinics, distributors, and other healthcare customers across ANZ.
• Follow up on overdue accounts, resolve payment disputes, and maintain effective customer relationships.
• Reconcile customer accounts, resolve discrepancies, and support month-end close, including AR reconciliations and bad-debt provisions.
• Prepare accounts receivable, credit, and collections reports for management.
• Collaborate with Sales, Customer Service, and Supply Chain to resolve customer and payment issues.

Requirements

• Experience in accounts receivable, credit control, or collections.
• Strong understanding of credit risk and accounts receivable processes.
• Good communication and stakeholder-management skills.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
• Proficiency in Excel and ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or similar.
• Experience in healthcare, MedTech, or a similar industry is preferred.
