What you will do

• Lead high-stakes negotiations to offset supplier cost increases and protect group margins.
• Drive the CPI review process and coordinate Joint Business Plans (JBPs) with key suppliers.
• Perform technical cost-price validation using "Should-Cost" models before they reach merchandise teams.
• Enforce Standard Trading Conditions (STCs) and refine supplier contracts to maximize rebates and settlement terms.
• Conduct cross-category gap analyses to identify and recover missed funding or unclaimed supplier support.
• Collaborate with Finance to ensure merchandise margin accuracy and provide forecasting for supplier income.

Requirements

• 8+ years of relevant, senior commercial experience.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a similar field.
• Proven expertise in managing complex pricing models and large product portfolios.
• Experience in strategy development and Joint Business Planning (JBP) with external partners.
• Strong negotiation, influencing, and data analysis skills for summarizing high volumes of data.
• Experience working within a matrix-structured organization; retail experience is highly regarded.
