What you will do
- Lead the monthly corporate worldwide financial close, including technical accounting, journal entries, and account reconciliations.
- Prepare journal entries for significant higher-risk accounts and ensure complex transactions are recorded accurately in the general ledger.
- Assess technical accounting issues (e.g., Debt and Equity) for correct financial statement treatment under US GAAP.
- Ensure worldwide consolidations are prepared accurately and on time.
- Prepare monthly results review materials for CFO/CEO and perform financial analyses.
- Execute SOX-related activities, maintain internal controls, streamline accounting processes, and support ad hoc accounting matters.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (or related) and 3–5 years of relevant experience; or 2–3 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
- CPA preferred.
- 2+ years of Big 4 public accounting experience preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Strong written and oral communication skills; clear, concise, polished written analyses and presentations.
- Ability to work accurately and thoroughly with strong attention to detail and ownership; collaborative, proactive problem-solving mindset.
