What you will do

• Execute approved plant start-up and shutdown procedures.
• Monitor operations systems and maintain a strong working knowledge of boiler, turbine, and auxiliary equipment.
• Provide guidance to Crane, Auxiliary, and Back Plant Operators to ensure safe operations.
• Manage critical events and prioritize tasks during emergencies.
• Respond to operational alarms and take immediate corrective action.
• Read and interpret blueprints, P&IDs, and schematic specifications.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must be able to work 12-hour rotating shifts.
• Ability to complete the ASME QRO Provisional Licensing exam within the first year.
• Ability to lift/carry 50lbs and work in confined spaces or at heights.
• Ability to qualify to wear a full-face respirator.
• Ability to work in various weather conditions.
