Salary: $144,400 - $190,000 USD

What you will do

• Build and operate reliable data pipelines for event and entity ingestion into Snowflake.
• Develop and maintain traditional ELT processes to create a single source of truth.
• Apply dimensional modeling and engineering best practices to curate trusted datasets.
• Optimize production performance, reliability, and cost through monitoring and tuning.
• Collaborate on target-state architecture design and provide scalability recommendations.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to team standards for code quality and deployment.

Requirements

• Minimum 8 years of related experience (or 6+ years with an advanced degree).
• Strong hands-on experience with data warehousing and analytical datasets.
• Expertise in SQL development and performance tuning on analytical databases like Snowflake.
• Experience with streaming data (Kafka) and change-data-capture (CDC) ingestion.
• Proficiency in dimensional modeling, dbt, and git-based CI/CD workflows.
• Experience with workflow orchestration tools such as Apache Airflow.
• Productive and fluent use of AI coding tools in daily engineering tasks.
