What you will do

• Architect and implement enterprise-grade data platforms, including data lakes and real-time pipelines.
• Design and optimize end-to-end ETL/ELT workflows using tools like Spark, Kafka, and Airflow.
• Enforce data governance, security, and compliance standards such as GDPR and CCPA.
• Lead performance optimization of databases and cloud-native data services.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into scalable technical architectures.
• Mentor junior engineers and drive technical best practices across the team.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in data engineering.
• Must be eligible to work in the US without visa sponsorship.
• Expertise in SQL, Python, and relational database management systems.
• Deep understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and big data tools.
• Strong knowledge of data modeling, security, and governance frameworks.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and CI/CD automation.
