TL;DR

Senior Technical Program Manager (National Security): Accountable for programmatic operations of highly complex aerospace projects in the Blue Ring portfolio with an accent on technical tracking across budget, schedule, and risk. Focus on leading program planning & control, finance, procurement, and cost engineering to establish baselines and drive recovery plans to variance while managing customer SOW execution and proposal sign-off.

Location: Greater Seattle Area

Salary: $160,618.00 - $224,864.85 (CO applicants); $169,624.00 - $237,473.25 (WA applicants)

What you will do

  • Serve as primary point of contact for execution and management of program deliverables, performance to plan, and completion of customer statement of work.
  • Manage contractual data requirements, scope definition, and program baselining across scope, schedule, and financials; oversee customer relationship from pre-solicitation through launch/delivery/ops.
  • Lead weekly/monthly tasking across multiple organizations, maintain awareness of all project activities, and drive program staffing requests and team scope management.
  • Own program-level financial performance, including spend planning, cash flow, and risk management.
  • Implement business rhythm (staff meetings, operating reviews, monthly reporting, quarterly/annual planning) and generate/track action items.
  • Lead Program Planning & Control, Finance, Procurement, and Cost Engineering teams to establish baselines, execution status, and recovery plans; coordinate interfaces with supporting functions and represent business unit interests in proposals.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in program management and/or program planning in the aerospace industry.
  • Experience working on Aerospace Development Programs and/or Space Systems.
  • Strong understanding of DFARs-based contracts.
  • Demonstrated expertise using MS Project for labor-loaded integrated schedules.
  • Active Top Secret (TS) clearance required.
  • U.S. citizenship or national, U.S. permanent residency (current Green Card), or lawful admission into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
