TL;DR

Senior Program Manager (Aerospace): Managing and coordinating complex aftermarket programs with an accent on contract compliance, schedule management, and cross-functional collaboration. Focus on leading proposal development, mitigating risks, and ensuring program success within scope, schedule, and budget constraints.

Location: Onsite in Buffalo, NY. This role requires access to U.S. export-controlled information.

Salary: $120,000–$150,000 Annually

What you will do

  • Ensure contract compliance through coordination and management of all program activities.
  • Achieve program objectives by managing scope, schedule, and budget effectively.
  • Lead and support proposal teams and business capture campaigns to expand the book of business.
  • Develop detailed program plans and monitor cost, schedule, and task completion.
  • Collaborate with operations, supply chain, and engineering teams to resolve issues.
  • Present program status to customers and internal management in high-pressure environments.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or business.
  • Minimum 7+ years of professional work experience, including 3+ years in program management.
  • Proven leadership, emotional intelligence, and customer orientation skills.
  • Knowledge of project management tools, including Earned Value Management.
  • Experience managing development program schedules, costs, and risks.
  • Must be able to access U.S. export-controlled information.

Nice to have

  • Experience working with Aftermarket programs.
  • Experience in reporting and managing production program line of balance.
