Principal AI Technologist (Cybersecurity)

Compensation: $250,000–$300,000

What you will do

• Serve as a senior subject matter expert on AI security for customers, prospects, and internal teams.
• Partner with Field CTOs on strategic engagements to articulate platform value and technical approach.
• Lead AI-focused discovery sessions, technical deep dives, and strategic proof-of-value designs.
• Develop reusable technical patterns, reference architectures, and playbooks for AI security use cases.
• Influence product roadmap and technical strategy by providing structured field insights to Engineering and Product teams.
• Collaborate with PMM to create credible technical narratives, whitepapers, and enablement materials.

Requirements

• Must be based in the United States
• Significant experience in senior technical roles such as Principal Technologist, Solutions Architect, or Field Architect.
• Deep understanding of modern AI/GenAI environments, governance challenges, and data exposure risks.
• Strong background in cybersecurity domains including DSPM, DLP, IAM, and cloud security.
• Proven ability to influence technical strategy and translate complex concepts into business value.
• Experience creating technical assets, demos, and enablement materials for high-growth environments.
