Location: On-site in Mountain View, California, United States; 25% domestic and international travel required

Salary: $230,000–$284,000 USD per year, plus discretionary annual bonus, equity incentives, and company benefits

What you will do

  • Serve as the primary point of contact between Waymo and automotive supplier partners.
  • Coordinate technical, manufacturing, and commercial discussions for strategic sourcing initiatives.
  • Align internal hardware teams and suppliers on technical and commercial deliverables.
  • Track program milestones, prepare progress reports, and manage budgets to support on-time delivery.
  • Lead collaborative meetings and proactively resolve obstacles to project completion.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of professional experience in automotive electronics program management or a closely related field.
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field.
  • Expertise in automotive product development processes, systems, and milestones.
  • Ability to define complex problems, align teams, and deliver strategic solutions to leadership.
  • Strong leadership, communication, prioritization, and stakeholder-management skills.

Nice to have

  • Master’s degree in engineering or a related field.
  • Experience in new product introduction, design engineering, manufacturing operations, sourcing, supply chain, or quality management.
  • Strong negotiation skills and attention to detail.
  • Understanding of electronic assembly, statistical analysis, and production control processes.
