TL;DR
Technical Program Manager (AR/Smart Glasses): Leading the end-to-end development, validation, and execution of display algorithms for AR/Smart Glasses products with an accent on cross-functional coordination between hardware, software, and optics teams. Focus on managing complex validation milestones, hardware dependencies, and risk mitigation to ensure image quality requirements are met on real hardware.
Location: Must be based in or able to commute to Redmond, Washington (Hybrid)

What you will do
- Define and execute end-to-end validation milestones for algorithm models, hardware testing, and prototype software.
- Drive alignment across display hardware, testing, software, and architecture workstreams.
- Manage hardware allocation and device availability to ensure validation timelines are met.
- Maintain a living risk register and implement mitigation plans for program roadblocks.
- Communicate program status, validation results, and risk summaries to engineering leadership.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience as a technical program manager in hardware/software co-development.
- 3+ years of experience in display technology, image processing, or electro-optical systems.
- B.S. in Electrical Engineering, Optical Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or equivalent.
- Proven ability to manage complex, multi-workstream programs with significant hardware dependencies.
- Strong analytical skills with experience using data to drive decision-making.
- Ability to operate autonomously in fast-paced, ambiguous development environments.
Nice to have
- Experience with display compensation algorithms and image quality pipelines.
- Familiarity with display technology testing methodologies.
- Experience managing 0-to-1 consumer device programs from prototype to mass production.
- Knowledge of AR/VR/XR display systems and near-eye display architectures.
