What you will do

  • Lead the full product development lifecycle from concept design freeze through validation, release, and sustaining support.
  • Set and reinforce high standards for design quality and technical rigor across mechanical and electrical engineering teams.
  • Partner with Manufacturing, Quality, and Supply Chain to ensure seamless production readiness and successful product launches.
  • Define clear performance metrics and outcomes to build a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Drive structured problem-solving and root cause analysis to ensure sustainable technical resolutions.
  • Collaborate with Engineering Systems to enforce disciplined workflows, including NPI, VAVE, and engineering change management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related discipline.
  • 8+ years of engineering experience in a manufacturing or product-based environment.
  • Proven leadership experience in product development, validation, and release activities.
  • Demonstrated ability to operate as a technical authority in a multidisciplinary environment.
  • Strong proficiency in data-driven management and performance tracking.
  • Familiarity with core design tools such as SolidWorks and Altium.

Nice to have

  • Advanced engineering degree.
  • Experience with structured methodologies like FMEA, 8D, or A3.
  • Experience building dashboards or metric-based management tools.
  • Experience partnering with engineering systems or workflow ownership roles.
