What you will do

• Develop and maintain scalable services using TypeScript, Node.js, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB.
• Design and implement innovative identity features and security standards for Agentic AI applications.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to deliver high-value identity solutions.
• Write clean, testable, and maintainable code while participating in system design discussions.
• Contribute to observability and alerting systems to ensure service reliability and performance.
• Engage in continuous learning and growth within a collaborative, distributed engineering team.

Requirements

• Must be based in or able to work from Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
• Solid programming experience with JavaScript/TypeScript and Node.js.
• Practical experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, specifically PostgreSQL and MongoDB.
• Strong understanding of architecture principles across infrastructure, security, and application layers.
• Proven ability to build resilient, scalable products.
• Excellent communication skills and a systematic approach to problem-solving.

Nice to have

• Understanding of IAM concepts and identity protocols.
• Experience with AI agents and their intersection with security.
• Knowledge of observability tools like Datadog, Prometheus, or OpenTelemetry.
