Senior/Staff Engineer (AI)

Location: Toronto; 5 days a week in the office near Union Station / King Street

What you will do

• Drive initiatives with broad business and technical impact.
• Build agentic systems for real-world enterprise accounting automation.
• Scale the platform for large and growing enterprise workloads.
• Architect a durable, scalable financial data processing layer and supporting infrastructure.
• Solve intricate accounting workflows through clean, robust abstractions.
• Own major product and engineering areas and collaborate closely with customers.

Requirements

• Typically 5+ years of experience building systems at high-growth companies.
• Strong familiarity with web development, relational databases, and distributed systems.
• Ability to work in person 5 days per week in the Toronto office.
• Curiosity, initiative, technical excellence, and strong care for team culture.

Nice to have

• Experience with AI agents, data pipelines, mission-critical systems such as fintech, or complex workflow engines.
