TL;DR

Construction Craft Training Lead (Engineering): Coordinating and developing craft training programs for construction professionals with an accent on operational consistency and NCCER standards. Focus on supervising instructors, maintaining curricula, and improving field performance through structured learning.

Location: Various US locations (KS, OR, FL, MI, AZ, TX, CO, NC, MN). Relocation not eligible.

Salary: $91,928 – $160,655

What you will do

  • Coordinate schedules, materials, and logistics for Training Specialists and instructors.
  • Manage and update training materials, job aids, and online learning modules.
  • Oversee NCCER compliance and ensure alignment in curriculum and delivery methods.
  • Gather learner feedback and implement process improvements based on performance trends.
  • Collaborate with Safety, HR, Quality, and Operations to identify and solve training gaps.
  • Supervise subordinates, including hiring, discipline, and pay administration.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of field execution experience in construction.
  • Expertise with NCCER training standards and instructor certifications.
  • Proven experience developing and delivering technical training in industrial environments.
  • Proficiency in LMS, Microsoft Office, and virtual training platforms (Teams, Zoom).
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Must be able to complete pre-employment background checks and drug screens.

Nice to have

  • 7+ years of experience in craft training or field operations.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent construction experience.
  • Bilingual abilities.
  • Knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design.
