What you will do

• Identify production problems and bottlenecks and resolve issues.
• Provide resources (materials, equipment, and human resources) to keep production schedules on track.
• Facilitate continuous improvement in safety, quality, cost, and customer service.
• Oversee production functions and maintain an engaged, team-oriented workforce to improve business results.
• Support training and development of Operations Team Leads for future advancement.
• Lead and teach World Class Safety/Wellness culture and support community and sustainability responsibilities.

Requirements

• Supervise 20–30 employees in Production and handle planning, assigning, directing work, performance evaluation, and employee development.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating/maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals; write routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to communicate effectively with groups of customers or employees.
• Basic math skills including rate/ratio/percent calculations and interpreting bar graphs.
• Knowledge of manufacturing software and MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Must be able to work weekends and/or shift work, including swing and graveyard shifts.
