What you will do

• Provide support and guidance to customers regarding workers' compensation coverage and certificates of insurance.
• Resolve customer inquiries via email and coordinate with state agencies and carriers.
• Evaluate customer records to create new policies and underwrite employee class codes.
• Prepare for policy renewals and audits through data entry and quality assurance.
• Ensure compliance with state guidelines and maintain relationships with brokers and carriers.
• Update internal standard operating procedures and documentation.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience in operations, insurance, or customer service.
• Must be based in New York, NY
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with high attention to detail.
• Ability to maintain high attention to detail and exercise good judgment.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of workers compensation or the PEO industry.
• Experience with customer support technologies such as Zendesk, Talkdesk, JIRA, and Confluence.
