What you will do

• Abstract pathology, treatment, and clinical data from open text medical notes with high accuracy.
• Maintain EDC databases for specific disease areas and develop documentation for data definitions.
• Perform quality reviews on abstracted data and monitor data quality dashboards.
• Coordinate with clinicians and data scientists to translate healthcare concepts into engineering requirements.
• Support the multidisciplinary team in automated abstraction activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a healthcare-related field.
• 2+ years of manual data abstraction or chart review experience from EHR source documents.
• Proficiency in medical terminology.
• Must be based in the USA.
• Strong commitment to regulatory compliance and confidentiality.

Nice to have

• Prior experience in oncology research or healthcare settings.
• Knowledge of SQL, biostatistics, or dataset analysis.
• Familiarity with REDCap or other EDC platforms.
• Experience with AI tools such as Claude and Gemini.
