Location: Must be based in the United States (Hybrid hubs in San Francisco, New York City, and Chicago; some roles can be performed from anywhere in the country)
Salary: $128,000 - $170,000 USD

What you will do
- Architect end-to-end SQL pipelines for large-scale healthcare data extraction, transformation, and validation to power observational research.
- Implement analytical plans featuring complex statistical modeling in R, aligning research objectives with methodological approaches for HEOR/RWE studies.
- Develop standardized programming modules to enhance research reproducibility and analytical efficiency across projects.
- Collaborate with epidemiologists and SMEs to design and execute observational research studies.
- Produce publication-ready deliverables and present findings to cross-functional stakeholders.
- Support internal tool development and contribute to scientific publications.
Requirements
- MS in Statistics, Biostatistics, Data Science, Public Health, Epidemiology, or a related quantitative field.
- 5+ years of industry experience developing production-grade SQL pipelines for large-scale databases.
- Proficiency in R, Python, or SAS for statistical programming.
- Hands-on experience with administrative claims, EHR, or equivalent RWD, including US medical coding systems (ICD-10, CPT, NDC).
- Experience with Git version control and command-line workflows.
- Proven ability to implement statistical analysis, including descriptive analytics, regression, and hypothesis testing.
Nice to have
- Advanced SQL skills such as dbt and query optimization.
- Extensive HEOR/RWE expertise (treatment pattern analysis, LoT, HCRU/cost analysis, synthetic control arms).
- Advanced statistical modeling experience in PSM, survival analysis, causal inference, and bootstrapping.
- Experience with health economic modeling (BIM and CEA).
- Exposure to RESTful APIs, R package development, or Shiny apps.
