Salary: $55,000 – $60,000 CAD per year

What you will do

• Conduct high-level visual reviews and site inspections of buildings and sites to collect data.
• Identify building system defects and evaluate upcoming capital expenditure needs.
• Review structural systems, building envelopes, interior finishes, and site works.
• Assess mechanical, plumbing, electrical, and fire-life safety systems.
• Prepare detailed Building Condition Assessment reports for owners and institutional lenders.
• Support business development activities and assist in preparing project proposals.

Requirements

• Technologist diploma or university degree in Architecture, Civil/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Building Science, or a related field.
• 1-5 years of experience in a similar role.
• Proficiency in cost estimating for the replacement and repair of building components.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to travel up to a week outside Calgary Metro and work in heights or confined spaces.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.

Nice to have

• Professional or technologist registration.
• Experience with AutoCad and VFA software.
• Prior experience in building operations or construction.
