Salary: $116,400 – $195,000 USD

What you will do

• Lead the development and deployment of enterprise-grade backend solutions from design to production.
• Architect and maintain consistent APIs ensuring interoperability and scalability across internal and partner systems.
• Build robust backend applications using Python, Flask, and serverless cloud technologies like AWS Lambda and ECS.
• Collaborate with product managers and clients to refine requirements and drive technical solutioning.
• Implement scalable systems capable of handling high-volume transactions with a strong focus on security.
• Conduct code reviews and provide technical leadership to ensure high-quality software delivery.

Requirements

• 7+ years of professional software development experience.
• Must be based in the United States.
• Strong proficiency in Python (Flask/SQLAlchemy) and TypeScript (React).
• Advanced PostgreSQL knowledge including stored procedures, views, and complex indexing.
• Proven experience with microservices, API-based paradigms, and cloud infrastructure (AWS, Terraform).
• Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Previous experience in Pharmacy Benefits Management (PBM).
• Experience as a technical lead or in technical product management.
