Location: Hybrid in Richardson, TX (2 days/week in office)

What you will do

• Lead technical direction and architecture for major WFM capabilities and cross-functional initiatives.
• Design and develop scalable, secure, and maintainable server-side solutions using Java, Spring, and Hibernate.
• Define and promote architecture standards, engineering best practices, and reusable design patterns.
• Own and evolve AI-assisted development practices, including coding agents, workflows, and quality metrics.
• Translate complex business requirements into technical architecture, delivery plans, and measurable outcomes.
• Mentor engineers and technical leaders through coaching, design reviews, and knowledge sharing.

Requirements

• 12+ years of software engineering experience, including extensive Java web application development.
• Proven experience leading architecture and technical initiatives across multiple teams.
• Strong expertise in Java, Spring, Hibernate, REST APIs, JUnit, and Mockito.
• Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development tools (GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude, etc.).
• Experience with CI/CD, Test-Driven Development (TDD), and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Must be based in or able to work from the Richardson, TX office.

• AWS cloud experience.
• Experience with end-to-end testing frameworks like Selenium, Playwright, or Cucumber.
