What you will do

• Troubleshoot and repair wafer handling robots for semiconductor applications.
• Diagnose and repair complex PCB assemblies and controllers using root-cause analysis.
• Interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and circuit designs to perform component-level repairs.
• Conduct post-repair validation, including functional and load testing.
• Develop and improvise custom circuits and test setups for unique repair needs.
• Document all performed work and technical findings in internal database systems.

Requirements

• Associate’s Degree in Electronics or equivalent technical training.
• Minimum 5 years of bench-level electronic repair experience.
• Expertise in through-hole, surface mount (SMT), and fine-pitch soldering.
• Strong knowledge of analog and digital electronics and AC/DC circuit design.
• Proficiency with complex test equipment: oscilloscopes, voltage meters, and signal generators.
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in a high-pressure environment.

Nice to have

• Experience with ABM XXX or Brooks Automation robot models.
• Expertise in AC/DC servo and stepper motor repair, rebuild, and testing.
• Proficiency with design and simulation tools like LabVIEW, MultiSim, or Cadence.
• Familiarity with VHDL, Verilog, or JTAG.
