Electronic Test Technician (PCB Manufacturing)

Location: Farmingdale, New York, United States; on-site role

Salary: $56,636–$89,522 per year, with a possible annual or quarterly bonus and shift premium for eligible alternative-shift positions.

What you will do

• Test developmental and production electronic components, assemblies, equipment, and systems.
• Set up test apparatus, equipment, and circuitry for functional, operational, and environmental testing.
• Diagnose failures, analyze test data, and complete acceptance, failure, and findings reports.
• Inspect, adjust, calibrate, and align electronic assemblies to documented performance levels.
• Use oscilloscopes, voltmeters, hand tools, and other testing devices.
• Recommend circuitry, installation, assembly, and maintenance improvements to engineers.

Requirements

• Associate degree or equivalent education from a two-year college or technical school.
• 3–5 years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Knowledge of or experience with electronic technology.
• Skill with hand tools and good computer skills.
• Must comply with US export-control requirements; access to ITAR products and related technical data is restricted to US citizens and US permanent residents.
