Senior Republican Strategist

Location: Hybrid, with an expectation of working an average of 2 days per week from an hirify.global office in the United States; salary location is District of Columbia

Salary: USD 105,500–243,000 annual base salary in the United States, District of Columbia. Variable incentives may also be offered.

What you will do

• Develop and execute strategies across government relations, public policy, and regulatory affairs.
• Support Administration, Congressional, and FCC strategy and engagement.
• Build relationships with government officials, policymakers, and public-sector leaders.
• Represent business interests in legislative and regulatory matters and advise on policy issues affecting tariffs, taxation, workforce strategies, and mergers and acquisitions.
• Interpret laws and regulations, assess business impact, and collaborate with legal teams on compliance and regulatory risks.
• Communicate policy positions clearly and persuasively while mentoring colleagues and supporting continuity during team transitions.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in commercial or public-sector roles focused on government relations, public policy, regulatory affairs, or advocacy.
• Deep expertise in networking, spectrum, FCC policies and processes, and complex regulatory environments.
• Strong legal background with experience interpreting laws and regulations and assessing their business impact.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in government, legal, and public policy contexts.
• Experience influencing senior stakeholders and managing complex, large-scale cross-functional projects.
• Advanced degree in Law, Public Policy, Economics, Political Science, or a related field is preferred.
