Director, Government Affairs (Gaming)

Location: Hybrid position based at the hirify.global headquarters in Atlanta, Georgia, United States. Frequent travel is required for stakeholder meetings, political organization conferences, and industry events.

Salary: $150,000–$175,000 per year.

What you will do

• Represent hirify.global to state legislators, regulators, governors, attorneys general, and other stakeholders.
• Build coalitions and relationships across the gaming ecosystem, including casino operators, tribal gaming communities, peers, competitors, and third-party stakeholders.
• Lead legislative and regulatory strategy and engagement across multiple jurisdictions.
• Collaborate with communications, legal, product, and marketing teams to communicate the company’s position and support its user community.
• Manage external firms and lobbyists to maximize impact and efficiency.
• Attend frequent stakeholder meetings, political organization conferences, and industry relationship-building events.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in policy, government, and/or campaign roles.
• Strong understanding of politics, media and communications, the legislative process, and technology, consumer apps, and gaming issues.
• Ability to distill complex policy and competitive dynamics into concise, politically attuned messaging.
• Exceptional interpersonal, relationship-building, strategic thinking, and execution skills.
• Ability to pass personnel submissions and background checks required for gaming licenses.
• Authorization to work for any employer in the United States is required; visa sponsorship is not available.
