Principal Frontend Software Engineer (React)

Location: San Mateo, CA (Hybrid: onsite Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday)

What you will do

• Design, build, and ship features that power the social graph for millions of users.
• Architect scalable, long-term frontend solutions for critical social features.
• Collaborate across the company to translate business goals into a concrete, multi-year technical roadmap.
• Serve as a technical leader by setting engineering standards and mentoring other engineers.
• Own and develop critical features such as profiles, online presence, and co-play tools.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in software development with React, TypeScript, and JavaScript.
• Proven track record of building and launching complex, consumer-facing features.
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field.
• Must be based in or be able to work from San Mateo, CA (no full remote option).
• Valid United States work authorization required; some visa categories and H-1B sponsorship may not be supported.
