What you will do

• Design, build, and operate hirify.global’s global cloud networking stack, including DNS, CDN, and load balancing.
• Develop automated detection and response systems to defend against large-scale DDoS threats.
• Create infrastructure-as-code and automation frameworks using Terraform and CloudFormation.
• Troubleshoot complex issues in distributed systems and Linux-based environments.
• Collaborate with AWS and internal engineering teams to scale worldwide infrastructure.
• Participate in on-call rotations to ensure critical infrastructure resiliency.

Requirements

• U.S. Citizenship is mandatory; no visa sponsorship is available.
• 5+ years of experience in software engineering focusing on distributed systems and microservices.
• Hands-on experience with AWS or GCP.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, and DNSSEC protocols.
• Proficiency in Go, Ruby, Python, or C/C++.
• Experience with Linux server operation and infrastructure-as-code.

Nice to have

• AWS domain expertise (NLB, VPC, IAM, S3, EC2).
• Experience with high-availability production systems at scale.
• Knowledge of DDoS mitigation strategies and automation frameworks.
