Location: Must be based in Kelowna, BC, Canada (Onsite at hirify.global Okanagan Campus)

Compensation: $23.74 - $27.22 CAD Hourly

What you will do

  • Provide advanced administrative and clerical support to various departments across the Okanagan campus.
  • Manage office reception, responding to inquiries via phone, email, and in-person with a service-oriented approach.
  • Coordinate meetings, including calendar scheduling, room bookings, and catering arrangements.
  • Perform financial tasks such as reconciling journal vouchers and processing travel requisitions and expenses.
  • Maintain office inventory, including ordering and purchasing supplies.
  • Adapt to different departmental workflows and operational needs on a short-term or project basis.

Requirements

  • Must be based in Kelowna, BC, Canada and available for onsite work.
  • High school graduation with additional training in office procedures.
  • Minimum of two years of recent administrative experience in a professional office environment.
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Demonstrated ability to handle confidential matters with discretion and maintain effective working relationships.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Nice to have

  • University undergraduate degree.
  • Experience with Financial Management Systems and Human Resources Management Systems (e.g., Workday).
  • Knowledge of University policies and procedures.
