What you will do
- Oversee the lifecycle of paper and digital documents, including archiving and destruction processes.
- Implement records management and privacy policies while ensuring strict adherence to documentation standards.
- Manage physical and digital processing of documents, including metadata, coding, and migration.
- Provide guidance and training to teams on best practices in records management and electronic document management (EDM) tools.
- Lead continuous improvement projects to optimize document management efficiency and performance.
- Support data rooms, due diligence exercises, and other rigorous information management initiatives.
Requirements
- DEC in Information Science or equivalent.
- Certificate in Records and Archives Management or equivalent.
- 7 to 10 years of relevant experience in records management and archiving.
- Advanced proficiency in EDM tools and Microsoft 365 suite.
- Bilingualism in French and English (spoken and written) is required.
- Must be based in or able to work in Longueuil, QC (Hybrid).
Nice to have
- Knowledge of M-Files.
- Knowledge of privacy frameworks such as GDPR, Bill 25, and CCPA.
- Experience with information management in finance, engineering, HR, legal, or technology domains.
