Maintenance Technician

TL;DR

Maintenance Technician (Manufacturing): Troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical facility equipment with an accent on operational reliability and continuous improvement. Focus on diagnosing system faults, performing preventive maintenance, and using CMMS documentation to keep production and infrastructure equipment running safely and efficiently.

What you will do

• Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
• Perform inspections, preventive maintenance, and upkeep of production and infrastructure equipment.
• Repair and replace gauges, valves, pressure regulators, and related components.
• Use a CMMS to track maintenance tasks and document work.
• Repair and maintain manual and CNC mills and lathes; dismantle defective machinery and install new/repaired parts.
• Install and maintain piping systems and associated hydraulic/pneumatic equipment; support welding/cutting as needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; or equivalent education and experience.
• 3+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong electrical and mechanical abilities.
• Familiarity with CMMS for maintenance operations.
• Ability to read and interpret basic mechanical and electrical drawings.
• Forklift experience; ability to follow laws, codes, policies, regulations, and safety practices.

Nice to have

• Maintenance-related training.
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement (Kaizen) practices.
