Manager, Accounting Advisory - Manufacturing Industry Clients (Manufacturing)

Location: Remote anywhere in the United States; listed location: Billings, Montana. Travel up to 10%.

Salary: $107,000–$160,000 annual base pay, plus potential discretionary bonus.

What you will do

• Lead client engagements supporting manufacturing organizations with financial reporting, performance insights, and operational recommendations.
• Review financial reporting packages and work papers for quality, completeness, and timely delivery.
• Prepare and analyze benchmarking data, key performance indicators, budgets, forecasts, and cash flow models.
• Provide technical accounting guidance and identify operational inefficiencies through client discovery sessions.
• Coordinate US and offshore engagement team members to maintain efficient workflows and consistent client delivery.
• Present findings to clients and coach staff and senior accountants on accounting and financial reporting matters.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business.
• 4–6 years of accounting experience, including exposure to manufacturing environments.
• 3+ years of experience leading and developing teams.
• Knowledge of manufacturing accounting concepts, including WIP, inventory, job costing, and COGS.
• Strong financial reporting, analytical, communication, presentation, prioritization, and client relationship management skills.
• Experience with accounting or ERP systems such as QuickBooks Online, NetSuite, Fishbowl, or Katana, plus Microsoft Office.

Nice to have

• CPA, CMA, or similar professional certification.
