Accounting Manager (Fintech)

Location: Rocklin, California, United States; initial in-office training followed by workplace flexibility.

Salary: $91,500–$163,000 annual base salary, with a typical starting range of $91,500–$126,600 and a 12% or 15% performance-based incentive target.

What you will do

• Oversee accounts payable, fixed asset, and expense reimbursement functions, including procedures and workflow.
• Ensure accurate and timely financial data and compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and regulatory guidance.
• Manage internal controls and help research and resolve accounting and operational risks.
• Participate in accounting system design, testing, software upgrades, and automation projects.
• Coordinate information for Internal Audit, Farm Credit Administration, and external auditors.
• Supervise, coach, train, and develop accounting employees while communicating goals and performance expectations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• At least five years of related experience, including oversight of accounts payable, expense reimbursements, fixed assets, and internal controls.
• Demonstrated ability to lead by example, hire and develop talent, and maintain a high-performing team.
• Knowledge of accounting, finance, economic principles, financial statement preparation, and internal controls.
• Ability to work independently, communicate clearly, and ensure accurate and timely results.

Nice to have

• Experience with general ledger, accounts payable, and fixed asset systems.
• A successful track record of employee coaching, development, and staff management.
