Senior Accountant

Location: St Louis Park, Minnesota, United States; hybrid work arrangement

Salary: $76,000–$141,100 per year, with potential eligibility for annual incentives.

What you will do

• Prepare accurate and timely financial transaction reporting, journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end close activities.
• Research general ledger variances and resolve reconciling items with business partners.
• Maintain the fixed asset ledger, including asset creation, dispositions, depreciation, and general ledger reconciliation.
• Record and reconcile intercompany transactions to support accurate eliminations.
• Maintain Sarbanes-Oxley documentation and coordinate internal and external audit activities.
• Provide financial analysis, technical accounting support, ad hoc data, and project assistance to finance leadership and business partners.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• At least 3 years of accounting experience.
• Experience with ERP software such as INFOR M3 or a similar package.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to collaborate across departments, present information clearly, and draw valid conclusions from financial data.
• Flexibility to work overtime during peak activity periods.

Nice to have

• Fixed asset accounting and intercompany accounting or elimination experience.
• CPA or CMA certification.
• Manufacturing industry experience.
• Experience with SAGE FAS, Power Query, Power Automate, or OneStream.
