Finance Manager (Recycling)

Location: Based at the corporate office in Florham Park, New Jersey, with at least one day per week onsite; travel to the Morrisville, Pennsylvania plant two to three days per week. One work-from-home day per week may be available based on business needs.

Salary: $118,700–$169,800 USD per annum

What you will do

• Serve as a finance business partner for metals management, plant leadership, operations, commercial teams, and other stakeholders.
• Develop dashboards, reporting tools, financial models, management reporting packages, and business narratives.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, scenario analysis, KPI reviews, variance analysis, and recurring financial operating routines.
• Evaluate capital requests, project economics, productivity initiatives, operational improvements, risks, and opportunities.
• Monitor commodity inventory, shipments, yields, recoveries, operating expenses, subcontractor billing, purchasing, and working capital.
• Support month-end close, reconciliations, accruals, reserves, inventory valuation, cost allocations, controls, and approval workflows.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 5+ years of relevant finance or accounting experience, preferably in an operating plant, manufacturing, recycling, commodities, or industrial environment.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial controls, budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, month-end close, and management reporting.
• Advanced Excel skills, including financial modeling, data analysis, and reporting automation; proficiency in PowerPoint.
• Experience partnering with business stakeholders and presenting financial results, risks, opportunities, and recommendations to management.
• Ability to work from the Florham Park corporate office at least one day per week and travel to the Morrisville plant two to three days per week.

Nice to have

• MBA or CPA.
• Experience with PeopleSoft or a similar ERP system.
• Experience with Oracle Smart View or plant start-up activities.
• Experience using AI-enabled tools for analysis, documentation, presentations, project tracking, and decision support.
